Summary Counters

What are Summary Counters?

Summary counters are small indicators that can be added to the Summary Panel. Summary counters sum up all attachments and comments within a hierarchy. 
Summary counters are clickable and open a related overview.

What are the benefits of Summary Counters?

Epic Sum Up allows you to easily find comments and attachments within hierarchies, using summary counters.

Summary counters can be used in the following structures:

• Epics

• Epic Sum Up Containers

• Advanced Roadmaps

One benefit of Epic Sum Up, is that when using summary counters, it is easier to find comments – compared to using Jira default search.

Additionally, when emails are added as comments, you can find them quickly & easily.

Clicking on either of these counters will bring you to a Detail View of each of these. Learn more about the counter overviews here.
